GSU Professor Jason Zingsheim Shines

Governors State University Associate Professor Jason Zingsheim is as passionate as he is prolific. In the span of two years, the LGBT advocate wrote a book, two book chapters, and two academic research papers. He’s won awards and high honors at the university,  but he’s not impressed with himself.

Dr. Zingsheim sees it this way:  “What I’m doing—focusing on communication to foster diversity and inclusiveness—can make a difference for students and anyone who engages these topics in their everyday lives. The only way we see social change at the broad level is for people to embrace social change at the individual level.”  Read more about Dr. Zingsheim here.
