Governors State University Associate Professor Jason Zingsheim is as passionate as he is prolific. In the span of two years, the LGBT advocate wrote a book, two book chapters, and two academic research papers. He’s won awards and high honors at the university, but he’s not impressed with himself.
Dr. Zingsheim sees it this way: “What I’m doing—focusing on communication to foster diversity and inclusiveness—can make a difference for students and anyone who engages these topics in their everyday lives.
